  • You are more than a conqueror!

Romans 8:37 "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." You are more than a conqueror. This is true, even when everything around you says otherwise, and even when you feel sad or defeated at times. The victory that Jesus Christ won was not just for Himself; He grants it to all who believe in Him, making them victorious as well. Through the merits of Jesus, we are more than conquerors. We did nothing to deserve it, yet He gave it to us by His grace. Being more than a conqueror does not mean we are immune to difficulties, struggles, or problems. It means that we go through these challenges with the right attitude—standing firm in faith, with the presence of the best friend, and with the peace that surpasses all human understanding. No matter how great the battles that try to bring us down, nothing can separate us from the presence and love of God in Christ Jesus. If you already know and believe in this love, you too are more than a conqueror. Have the attitude of a conqueror: Trust that the One who has already granted the greatest victory can help you in every circumstance of daily life. You cannot control what happens, but you can choose to have the attitude and confidence of a champion in God. Pray to the Lord in all circumstances—He is in control of everything. Praise God for giving you salvation through Jesus and for granting you access to countless other blessings. Read Romans 8 and reflect on the blessings and victories that God has given you. Share with others the reason for your victory through faith in Jesus. A Prayer: Dear God, thank You so much for the greatest victory—salvation through Your infinite love. Help me to always trust, with all my heart, that in Jesus Christ, I am more than a conqueror. No matter the situation, You have already won the battle for me. I also ask You to help those who feel defeated in life, that they may find the joy of being champions in You. In Jesus' name, I give You thanks. Amen.

  • Overcome the pain of abandonment

The experience of being abandoned is deeply traumatic for anyone. Unfortunately, to some extent, most people have suffered some form of abandonment. There is social abandonment, a condition faced by the homeless or people with disabilities. Then, there is parental abandonment, when children are left by their parents. Another form is relational abandonment, when a spouse, partner, or significant other withdraws without showing any interest in the other person. Lastly, there is emotional abandonment, when there is a sense of rejection or distance from someone who once cared deeply for you. Whatever the type, if this is your condition, remember that God embraces you in any situation. Jesus Christ knows your pain, for He too was rejected, humiliated, and betrayed by His closest friends. He suffered the tremendous pain of abandonment by the Father on the cross for you and for me, due to our sin. Christ endured this pain so that today we can be sheltered and reconciled with God, our Heavenly Father. Therefore, no matter what happens in your life, God loves you deeply and wants to embrace you. All you need is to believe in Him. Receive God's comfort today: Pray and bring before Jesus the pain of abandonment you’ve suffered. Find encouragement in God through the Bible, prayer, and fellowship in a church committed to biblical principles. If there was failure or betrayal, ask God to forgive you and help you forgive. Share your experience with a pastor or a mature believer and ask for help in prayer. The one who abandoned you is missing the opportunity to live with someone very special... Cleanse your heart of bitterness and rejoice in God's love. Having been rejected does not make you inferior or worthless. Recognize God's love and Christ's sacrifice for you. His grace makes you precious in His sight. To pray: Lord God, help me because I have been abandoned and feel so alone. Father, heal and restore my heart, saddened by rejection. Help me not to close myself off from life due to the bad experiences I have lived in the past. Renew my faith, hope, and love. Thank You for teaching me in Your Word that You love me and will never abandon me. Secure me in Your arms and walk with me today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  • Thus far the Lord has cared for us.

Afterward, Samuel took a stone, set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and named it Ebenezer, saying, "Thus far the Lord has helped us." (1 Samuel 7:12) God demonstrated His grace by giving victory to His people. He forgave Israel, who had been far from His ways, when the people turned back to Him in repentance. God heard their cry and their prayers, saving them from the Philistine enemies, granting them a great victory in battle. In the same way, He fights our battles. Samuel raised a stone and called it EBENEZER—which in Hebrew means "stone of help." He did this to acknowledge and give thanks for the Lord's favor and goodness. He is the Chief Cornerstone that grounds His people. He watches over all who take refuge in Him. The Lord sustains us with the strength of His power and cares for us with love. That’s why you can also say today, "Ebenezer"—The Lord has cared for us! Give thanks to the Sovereign for all His help. Gratitude, faith, and hope are important marks in the life of Christians. Thank God for all His blessings. Define personal or public memorials to remember the goodness of the Lord toward you and your family. Pray and give thanks to the Lord. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. Prayer: Lord, I thank You for sustaining me this far. You are my rock! Thank You for caring for me and helping me day by day. Your hand strengthens and guides me. Don’t let me walk alone, God. Even when difficulties come, I believe Your presence will guide and protect me every day. In Jesus' name, I give You thanks. Amen.

  • Friend at all times

Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." In this increasingly individualistic and materialistic world we live in, we are constantly tempted by selfish desires and forget the needs of others. We are surrounded by values that are more focused on "me" and "having" rather than seeking "being" and loving. We stop seeing people as valuable and worthy of our love, friendship, and care. Unfortunately, we adopt this attitude of isolation and indifference even in our relationships with family and friends. If we don’t have trustworthy friends by our side, it may be a sign that we are not being the type of friends we could be. There are many people around us who are waiting to rely on us. Jesus Christ, our best friend, also teaches us to love and be good friends to those near us. If you feel like you don’t have a friend you can count on at all times, be that friend to someone who needs it. How precious it is to give (and also receive) support and love from a true friend! Be a friend at all times: Be the best friend to your friends and seek to be close to them at all times, like a brother. Enjoy joyful moments of communion, and don’t distance yourself when they need you the most. Give what you hope to receive. If you desire to have sincere friends, take the initiative and be a true friend. Friends can disappoint us, as they are human and make mistakes just like we do. No matter what happens, it’s worth opening your heart, loving them, forgiving them, and staying united. If you think you don’t have friends, start with your household. Love, care for, and be a friend to your family members. Pray for your friends. Pray with them. Take care of those whom God has placed in your life. Share, read, and study God’s Word with the friends God brings to your side. Always count on the best friend: Jesus Christ! To Pray: Lord my God, You are the best friend we can have in this life: always present, always faithful. With You, I learn to be a better friend, loving and serving my neighbor the same way You love and care for me. Help me to be a good friend to those around me. Teach me to care, to be interested, and to love everyone who comes near me, especially in their most difficult moments. Thank You for bringing special people into my life: my family, friends, and brothers and sisters who make my journey more complete and happy. Amen.

  • The manifold grace of God

"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10) God's work is careful and creative. If we look around us, we will see that He works in many varied ways for the well-being of all. The bright sky with the stars, the flowers, the scents, the fruits, and the flavors... The light and warmth of the sun day after day. We all receive daily gifts, freely given, from the great love of God. In addition to life, God has given us many good things. The best gift God gave us was His Son, Jesus, and in Him, we have all the other blessings. In Jesus, we can serve with our gifts and share the grace of the Lord in various ways. We can smile, be kind, give, forgive, help, care, protect, love... How can you serve someone today? Be an agent of God's manifold grace. Reflect a little on your life and the blessings you've received. Give thanks to God for that! Pray and offer to others what you have that can help them be happier. Giving something freely is an essential part of the Christian lifestyle. Open your heart, your smile, your closets. Donate food or clothes you no longer need, give something precious to someone. Perhaps you think you have nothing material (or financial) to give, but God has given you other resources. Use your personal gifts to help someone in need. Stay alert! There are many people near you who can receive something from God through your life. Pray for someone. Take a genuine interest in another person's happiness. To pray: Lord my God, thank you for giving me more than enough to live. Help me be attentive to the people who pass through my life and wake me up to be a channel of your grace to them as well. May I rejoice in giving and in being an instrument of your favor. Teach me to follow the steps of Jesus who acted with grace and mercy, giving everything out of love and obedience to You. Amen.

  • Don't let money dominate you.

Stay free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, because God has said: "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5) Money is necessary for managing our homes and our responsibilities. If we are honest, who wouldn’t want financial stability? But it’s because of that “peace of mind” that many focus their minds on the earthly realm and forget the spiritual. Even if it is done through righteous means and motives, "chasing after money" can lead us away from the Lord. When we are in a frantic pursuit of better financial conditions, we can open the door to sin. In addition, the love of money makes us ungrateful for what God has already done for us. God will never abandon us! Just as He cares for the lilies of the field, He cares for each one of us with love. Do not worry about money and do not make its fruits the goal of your life. Make God your goal, and He will increase everything else in your life. He might even grant you a more favorable financial condition. Free from the love of money Use your resources as a tool in God's work. Remember that financial condition is not everything in life. Focus on God, seek holiness. God is not a wallet, do not treat God as if He were your bank. If your prayers are mostly about obtaining financial blessings, this is a sign that you need to free yourself from the love of money. Turn to the Bible for help and guidance to free yourself from the love of money. To pray: Lord God, thank you so much for taking care of me. You have sustained me through difficulties. I want to acknowledge Your favor and mercy over my life. Thank you for everything. Amen.

  • God has already prepared the best for us.

Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Sometimes we face challenges that make us doubt God's promises for our lives. But it’s important to remember that, no matter how difficult the moment, God has already prepared the best for each one of us. He has a perfect plan, with a future of hope, prosperity, and joy. No matter what we’re going through today, the Lord has already marked the path to take us to higher places. When we fully surrender to God, trusting in His wisdom and aligning with His purposes, even when the journey seems long or the obstacles seem great, we can rest in the fact that He is in control. God’s best never comes without effort, but it always comes with the certainty that He is with us every step of the way. Remember, no matter how challenging today may be, the future with Christ is full of victory. Trust, wait, and believe, because God has already prepared the best for your life. Psalm 100:5 - "For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations." 3 Steps to Live the Best God Has Prepared Trust in God's promises : Remember that God has already prepared the best for your life, regardless of your current circumstances. Completely surrender to the Lord : Trust in His plans, even when you don’t understand everything. Surrendering to God opens doors to His purpose. Be patient : Walking with God requires faith and patience, knowing that He is shaping your future for good. To Pray: Lord, thank you for Your perfect plans for my life. Help me to trust in Your promises, surrender completely to You, and persevere with faith, knowing that the best is yet to come. May Your love guide me and strengthen me each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • Be generous with what God has given you.

Some give generously, and receive more than they give; others don't even pay their debts, and end up in misery. The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. (Proverbs 11:24-25) Generosity is a precious treasure. This attribute is perfectly reflected in the way God treats us. With great generosity, He gave us His Son Jesus, and along with Him, He provides all the essentials for our existence and even much more than we need. Many people reflect this divine principle by graciously sharing with others what they have, even when they have little. God delights when we imitate Him in generosity and love. He rewards those who give joyfully and care for the needy. Multiply the blessings you’ve received by sharing them with those in need. You can be sure that Christ will reward you. Practice generosity Pray, open your heart, and extend your hand. "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." (Matthew 5:7) Do not withhold what God has granted you. Remember, we do not lose when we give. Give spontaneously and discreetly. "Do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing." (Matthew 6:3) Even the little you have can be multiplied with God. Look around you and help whenever you can with what is possible. Do not give expecting something in return. That would be selfish bargaining, not generosity. God knows the intentions of the heart. God loves those who give joyfully. (2 Corinthians 9:7) Imitate the Lord, give generously, and see how the satisfaction of the needy does good to your heart. For prayer: Lord God, thank you for everything you have done in the lives of your children. I give you thanks for the greatest gift given through Jesus Christ. There are hard times, but You have given me much more than I need. Therefore, I ask that You open my heart. I cannot close my eyes to those in need. Whether they are near or far, Lord, help me to help. Even if I can only give a little, I want to imitate Your generosity. Bless all those who are generous and reward them according to Your infinite grace. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

  • Life is just a breath.

Remember, O God, that my life is but a breath; that my eyes will never again see happiness. (Job 7:7) "Your days are numbered..." It sounds like one of those dramatic lines from movies or novels, doesn’t it? But the truth is, it is a harsh and real reality. Our fragile life can end at any moment. It is a certainty we all face: one day we will depart. Are we prepared for the end of this breath? Admitting that we are finite and vulnerable is not pleasant. Usually, no one likes to talk about or face the sad reality of death. On the other hand, thinking about the brevity of life can be very wise and sensible. Living with a sense of finiteness in this world reminds us that we are fragile and dependent on God. Think about this. Live in a way that makes a difference, understanding that your life here is temporary. But trust, for Jesus Christ conquered eternal life for you. One day, your life will pass. Glorify God with your life. In everything you do, seek to give your best as if it were for God. Meditate on the finiteness of life. Read Ecclesiastes 7:2-4. Jesus should be the reason for your existence. Pray and commit each day of your life to the Lord. Express joy and gratitude each day. Praise God for everything He allows you to live. Live with a sense of mission. You have a purpose to fulfill every day of your life: fulfill it in God's presence! To pray: Lord my God, I thank you for the gift of life. It is so precious, Lord. I pray that you help me live in a way that pleases you. You gave meaning to my existence! Teach me to fulfill the purpose you have entrusted to me by loving you and the people in my life. May I enjoy the good things and overcome the bad, remembering that I am totally dependent on you. Father, everything here will pass, but life in your presence is eternal. I praise and worship you forever! Amen.

  • Sow the seed, even if it is with tears.

Psalm 126:5-6 "Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them." The "law of sowing" or the principle of planting is a concept frequently addressed throughout the Bible. Jesus taught many parables about the sower, the types of soil, and the seeds (like the mustard seed, for example). Paul also said (in Galatians 6:7) that "a man reaps what he sows." Because of these and other references, we understand that naturally, and in all areas of life, we reap what we sow. Today's Psalm speaks of a different aspect of sowing. In fact, this is the only place in the Bible where a harvest is mentioned that is different from what was planted. Here, the law of sowing is surrounded by the grace and mercy of the Lord who sustains all things. God grants those who sow with tears (humility, trust, and contrition) to reap their sheaves full of joy (happiness, contentment, and satisfaction). Trust your seed to Jesus, who can transform a small seed into many sheaves. He can also turn your weeping into a celebration! Although there may be tears and difficulties, sow the seed: Sowing is related to trust. Entrust your plans to the Lord and trust that He will work. Pray constantly to God, asking Him to sustain you and direct you in all the purposes of your life. God makes things grow, but you need to plant. Be diligent and take heart! After sowing in faith, pray and wait on the Lord with patience. Ask for God’s guidance so that you always produce good fruit through the action of His Spirit in your life. The Word of God is the good seed. Share the Gospel with those around you. To pray: Lord, help me to plant seeds with faith and hope in You. May I trust, knowing that You sustain all things, and I know that You sustain my life, my family, and all my dreams. Even when I cry, tired or weary from the struggles of life or the effort of work, help me continue planting good seeds. May these seeds produce good fruit that will bless many and bring glory to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  • God is very close to you.

When life gets tough and we feel lost, it’s easy to think that we are alone. But you must remember something important: God is always near to you. As the Bible says in Psalm 145:18: "The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." (Psalm 145:18) When you cry or feel overwhelmed, know that God is there, holding your hand and comforting you. And when you're happy, He celebrates with you. God is always present and knows every part of you. He understands your deepest desires and even the secrets you try to hide from yourself. No matter where you are, God’s love is never far away. Even when everything seems difficult and you feel alone, remember to look to God. He is by your side, ready to help, no matter how hard the road may seem. Trust in Him, because He always keeps His promises. "Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal." (Isaiah 26:4) Move forward with God’s presence. Seek moments of prayer to strengthen your connection with God, remembering that He is always near, ready to listen and comfort. Share your joys and concerns with others, recognizing that God’s presence is also manifested through fellowship and mutual support. Keep your trust in God, even in the most difficult times, remembering that He is faithful and willing to guide your steps, no matter the circumstances. To pray: Lord, in the midst of life’s tribulations, I recognize Your closeness and Your love. Comfort me in my afflictions, help me rejoice in my victories. Always guide me, for I trust in Your faithfulness. Amen.

  • Make the most of your time.

"So be careful how you live. Don't live like fools, but like those who are wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil."  (Ephesians 5:15-16) In these short verses, we find two precious pieces of advice: live wisely and make the most of your time! The first point warns us of the need to gain wisdom, that is, prudence or diligence, and this comes from God to us. It is the Lord who helps us develop multiple intelligences with wisdom, and with the ability to make creative connections to grow and serve in love. The second recommendation is directly related to time. It refers to every opportunity that arises in life. Unfortunately, we waste a lot of time without benefiting ourselves, others, and especially God's kingdom. Some Bible translations of verse 16 contain the expression "redeeming the time." This refers to the need to "redeem" or "buy back" the lost time. Just as Jesus did with us, we too must pay the price to free our time from the evil powers that are enslaving the world. Seek God's wisdom now to manage your time! Redeem your time with diligence Read James 1:5, 3:17, and Ecclesiastes 3:1-7. Reflect and evaluate how and where you "lose" the most time during your day. Take note and be careful! Don't waste time on trivial things! Rescue the time lost in front of screens, on social media, and with other meaningless distractions. Do something useful for God and society. Study, work, learn a new language, play an instrument, learn a trade, volunteer, get involved in God’s work, keep moving forward! Reprogram yourself and be intentional, becoming aware of where you invest your time. To pray: Lord God, help me to live wisely, making better use of my time. Teach me to be wise like Jesus, to live more productively for your glory. Help me not to waste such precious time on things of no value. Teach me to look to Jesus and learn from Him how to make the best use of the time you’ve given me to fulfill your will. Holy Spirit, please help me and show me when I am wasting time on things that don’t matter. Help me redeem my time to use it in the best way, serving you and adding good things to this world, Father. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen!
